Progressive Leasing offers customer service through multiple channels including phone, online account portal, mobile app, and self-service help center. This guide covers how to reach the company through each channel and offers practical tips for getting your issue resolved quickly.

Progressive Leasing Customer Service Phone: Progressive Leasing customer service
This is the primary number for account questions, payment issues, early purchase options, and returns.

Ways to Contact Progressive Leasing

By Phone:

Calling is the fastest way to resolve most account-specific issues. This includes executing the 90-day early purchase option (which cannot be done online), coordinating returns, disputing charges, and setting up payment arrangements. Have the following ready before you call:

  • Your The lease-to-own program lease number (from your emailed lease agreement)
  • The last four digits of your Social Security Number or ITIN for identity verification
  • Your driver's license or state ID
  • Your payment method (debit card, credit card, or bank account) if calling to make a payment or execute an early purchase

Online Account: account.progleasing.com

The The program MyAccount portal at account.progleasing.com lets you:

  • View your current lease balance and payment history
  • See upcoming scheduled payments
  • Make one-time payments
  • View your original lease agreement and payment amounts
  • Update your contact information and payment method
  • View your early purchase option amounts

Note: The online portal cannot process the 90-day early purchase option. For that, you must call Progressive directly.

Mobile App

The The provider app (available for iOS and Android) offers the same functionality as the online portal plus additional features:

  • Store locator with map view
  • In-store barcode scanner to add items to your lease application
  • Push notifications for payment reminders
  • Payment estimator based on retailer and purchase amount
  • Application submission and status tracking

Help Center: help.progleasing.com

The It help center offers self-service answers to common questions organized by topic (Pre-Application, Application Process, Payments, Returns, etc.). For general questions about how the program works, the help center often provides faster answers than waiting for a customer service call.

Progressive Leasing Customer Service Hours

The company customer service is typically available:

  • Weekdays: Extended hours (typically early morning through evening Central Time)
  • Weekends: Reduced hours (typically mid-morning through early evening Central Time)

Specific hours can vary. Call the main number to hear current availability or check help.progleasing.com for updated hours.

Common Reasons to Call Progressive Leasing

To execute the 90-day early purchase option

This must be done by phone. Say: "I'd like to execute the 90-day early purchase option on my active lease. Can you confirm the exact payoff amount and process the payment today?"

To coordinate a return

If you want to return a leased item, call The LTO program first — do not simply return the item to the retailer. Say: "I need to return an item on my active lease. Can you coordinate the return with [retailer name]?"

To dispute a charge or payment

If you notice an unexpected charge or a payment applied incorrectly, call within 30 days of the charge. Have your lease number and the specific transaction date ready.

To change your payment schedule

Call at least 3 business days before your next scheduled payment. Progressive Leasing can typically move your payment date to align with a changed payday.

To report a card or bank account change

If your debit card expires or your bank account closes, call Progressive Leasing before your next scheduled payment to avoid a returned payment fee. You can also update payment method through the online portal or app.

If you're experiencing hardship

Call early — before a payment fails. Progressive Leasing has more flexibility to work with you proactively than reactively. Ask about hardship deferral options that may be available for your account.

Getting Faster Customer Service Resolution

  • Call during off-peak hours. Mid-morning weekdays (Tuesday–Thursday) typically have shorter hold times than Monday mornings or weekend afternoons.
  • Have your lease number ready. This is the fastest way for the agent to pull up your account.
  • State your issue in one clear sentence. "I want to execute the 90-day payoff on lease [number]" gets you routed faster than a general "I have a question about my account."
  • Ask for written confirmation. After any account change, ask for an email confirmation. This protects you if there's a later dispute.
  • Escalate calmly if needed. If the first-line agent cannot resolve your issue, politely ask to speak with a supervisor. Progressive Leasing has escalation paths for unresolved issues.
  • Keep a call log. Note the date, time, agent name (or ID), and what was discussed on every call. This documentation matters if you need to escalate later.

When Customer Service Cannot Help

Progressive Leasing customer service cannot:

  • Waive fees for missed payments in most cases (though hardship programs may exist)
  • Change the total 12-month lease cost after signing (this is set at signing)
  • Retroactively apply the 90-day discount if you've passed day 90
  • Process returns for damaged items — those go through the retailer's return process, coordinated by Progressive

Filing a Complaint

If your issue is not resolved through Progressive Leasing customer service, you have external escalation options:

  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint at bbb.org. Progressive Leasing typically responds to BBB complaints within 30 days.
  • Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): Submit a complaint at consumerfinance.gov if your issue involves credit reporting or debt collection practices.
  • Your state attorney general: State consumer protection offices can investigate patterns of consumer harm.
  • Federal Trade Commission (FTC): Report at reportfraud.ftc.gov for concerns about deceptive practices.
